Aspen is known for it's high-end restaurants and boutiques as well as historical landmarks like the Wheeler Opera House, built in 1889 during the area’s silver mining boom, The Wheeler-Stallard House, a local history museum set in a 19th-century, Queen Anne–style home and the Sardy House, built in 1891 by the owner of the Little Annies Mine. Let our knowledgeable drivers take you on a tour, of past and present, to gain a deeper understanding of Aspen's buildings, characters and culture.

INDEPENDENCE PASS TOUR (Summer Only)

In addition to being a scenic byway, Independence Pass is a favorite recreation location during the summer months, for those visitors willing to travel just east of Aspen.  At 12,095ft, this is the highest paved road in the state and passes over the Continental Divide between Leadville and Aspen.  Enjoy a few hours with us traveling the Pass while stopping at various wilderness sites, high alpine surroundings and historical landmarks.  You will definitely want your camera for this one!

ASHCROFT TOUR

Originally known as Castle Forks City then Chloride until 1882, Ashcroft  is located ten miles south of Aspen. Like so many Colorado ghost towns, Ashcroft started out as a mining camp and quickly grew to about 2,500 people.  Today a few buildings remain, standing as a testament to the town's past.  While Ashcroft is exciting to see year-round, Fall is one of the most spectacular times to experience the Valley with it's Aspen's turning marvelous yellows and golds.  While the entire Valley is glowing, Ashcroft is a bonus set right in the middle of the splendor.

CRESTED BUTTE TOUR

During the Summer months and into the Fall, many visitors will trek from Aspen to Crested Butte or the reverse.  Along the way, there are many places to stop and soak in the scenery.  Experience the ghost town of Gothic, now a environmental study location for the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory.  Unwind in the quaint downtown of Crested Butt... andtravel over Kebler Pass for a dramatic view of the largest Aspen Grove in the State.

It’s not always the attractions that you see along the way that make a tour memorable... but rather the person who guides you through a new place or allows you to enjoy a new experience. Our drivers are a critical part of your adventure and will ensure that you have an unforgettable time in this Rocky Mountain Paradise.
